2023: Dia De Los Muertos
We hosted a free face painting booth at the Canoga Park Dia De Los Muertos festival. We painted the faces of dozens of children and talked to their parents about the SSFL as they waited. We also handed out over 800 flyers in English and Spanish. We also had a free craft to make giant tissue paper flowers and decorated a frame and invited the community to take photos with it.
