Art Poster Contest
One winner will receive $1,000 scholarship and have their art featured on our event branding including shirts, stickers, and more.

Poster Guidelines
“Water Connects Us”
Size: 8.5” x 11” on a flat substrate (paper, cardboard, flat canvas, etc).
Poster orientation can be horizontal or vertical.
All styles and genres of art are welcome.
The artwork can use any flat art medium (crayons, paint, marker, mixed media, pencil, photography, collage, digital artwork, etc).
The theme of this year’s poster is “Water Connects Us,” featuring the Los Angeles River.
Artwork must feature the Los Angeles River. The artwork can include people, plants, wildlife, insects, recreation, or more, relating to the LA River. Artwork can feature a map of the LA River or a portion of the LA River.
Please note that our event will be held in Canoga Park, a suburb of Los Angeles. Avoid portraying iconic Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) images such as the DTLA Bridge or DTLA skyline.
The artwork can not violate any copyrights and must be the original artwork of the participant.
The artwork can not be AI generated or AI altered in any way.
Winner will be selected by meeting guidelines and artistic quality.
All submitted artwork will become the property of PASSFL and may be used in print, online, video, merchandising, advertising, etc.
PASSFL reserves the right to alter the winning artwork to incorporate text and modify the image as needed, while retaining the artistic integrity.
Submitted artwork may be displayed at the LA River Cleanup Canoga Park event at our discretion.
